Browse Programs Admission InformationMaster's in Human Resource Management: This is one of the specializations in the Master's in Management Sciences. This course aims to provide students with the basic and necessary information for managing and administering the human element working in economic institutions, in particular, regardless of their size and the nature of their activity. Accordingly, the goal of the course is to:
- Enhance the knowledge and academic gains acquired in the first stage (bachelor's) of university education.
- Strengthen the academic and cognitive level of students, thus qualifying outstanding students to later pursue doctoral candidacy and, consequently, scientific research at universities and institutes specializing in human resource management, and support competencies in scientific laboratories.
- Introduce the status and role of human resource management in the development and advancement of the institution and connect it to the external environment through human capabilities and competencies capable of facing challenges and managing change for the benefit of the institution.
- Train competent managers in the field of human resource management, capable of ensuring sound administrative and organizational leadership of the various structures of the institution and utilizing them optimally.
- Providing students with the necessary knowledge to develop human resources strategies, primarily related to recruitment, selection, and hiring, planning, training and development, career management, talent retention, occupational safety and security, etc.
- Obtaining the academic qualifications necessary to improve institutional management performance.
- Developing human development policies and strategies.
The major consists of four courses: a regular course and four remedial courses. Students cover everything related to human resources management, either in person or remotely. During the first semester, students study functional engineering, organizational behavior, organizational culture, wage and incentive management 1, social management control, communication, and administrative writing. The second semester covers organizational theory, knowledge management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), wage and incentive management 2, and quantitative methods in management. During the third semester, students study social risk management, change management, administrative leadership, and competency management. The fourth semester covers field studies, culminating in a master's thesis, either a classic one or a project thesis for an economic institution, within the framework of Decision 008. This discussion culminates in the student receiving a Master's degree in Human Resources Management.

This major is directed toward the master's degree program for students pursuing the same major as those pursuing a bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree students with similar backgrounds in the same department may also be directed toward this major. External students may also be directed toward the major if the background is similar.
