Program Overview

The objectives of this program are to provide scientific training to future researchers wishing to engage in the study of pathologies with nutritional, immunological, and metabolic components, such as those observed in metabolic diseases with vascular risk such as diabetes, obesity, metabolic syndrome, and dyslipidemia, as well as in renal failure.

The various links in a production and processing chain are increasingly involved in defining the nutritional, hygienic, technological, and organoleptic characteristics of a food.

This specialty, in addition to its own scientific coherence in nutrition, metabolism, and vascular science, aims to broaden the minds of the researcher in training to methodological and conceptual skills and to clinical, behavioral, and regulatory aspects that will enable them to move into related fields, integrate into multidisciplinary projects, or even integrate into structures outside of research, such as the agri-food industry or health control and health promotion agencies.
