This field studies crime and deviance from a social perspective, meaning it focuses on clarifying the relationship between the phenomenon of crime and social conditions.
The objectives of the Master's in Sociology of Criminology and Deviance are
Scientific and theoretical training in the fields of violence, crime, deviance, and punishment
Providing students with various theoretical and empirical knowledge related to crime, violence, and deviance
- Diversifying the curriculum by providing theoretical content in disciplines related to crime and delinquency: criminal anthropology, penology, general criminal law, and criminal psychology. This enables graduatestomaster all scientific approaches to the phenomena of crime and delinquency, enabling them to work in the aforementioned fields, as well as in correctional and penal institutions
