Program Overview

The veterinary sciences program at Mohamed Khider University of Biskra is designed to meet the needs of animal and public health while ensuring the preservation of ecological balance. This training combines in-depth theoretical knowledge with practical skills in various fields such as animal physiology, pathology, ethology, and livestock management.

Students are trained to work with different types of animals, including companion animals, livestock, and wildlife. Admissions Information

Admission Requirements

Admission is open to students holding a scientific baccalaureate, particularly in experimental sciences, natural and life sciences, or mathematics. Admission criteria are based on the baccalaureate average and the university’s capacity.

Academic Prerequisites

Candidates must have a strong background in:

Biology and animal physiology
General and organic chemistry
Applied mathematics and statistics
Physics and biochemistry

Selection Process

Registration is done through the PROGRES platform of the Ministry of Higher Education after the baccalaureate results. Students select their field based on their average and the university's capacity. Final registration is completed after submitting the required documents (baccalaureate diploma, transcripts, identity document, photos).
