Program Overview

The analysis specialty is part of the joint Bachelor's program in mathematics within the department. This specialty requires a broad training in analysis and algebra to be able to learn properly and open up to Master's and Research training. Thus, the three specialties of the department share the first and second years (with the introduction of a module in probability and another in statistics in the second year to give an idea to all students and allow them to better choose their specialties in the third year). In the third year, several elective courses are offered with common topics, which facilitates the transition from one specialty to another.
