The Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a Microbiology specialization, offered by the Department of Biological Sciences at FSNVST, is a three-year program in the Natural and Life Sciences field. This program gives students a fundamental knowledge in biological concepts,strengthen technical and research skills in microbiology fields
The Microbiology Bachelor's program is structured according to:
· Common SNV courses (two years): Guarantee the acquisition of essential knowledge in biological sciences.
· Specialized Microbiology courses (one year): Enhancingmicrobiology knowledges and emphasizing the study of microorganisms, their roles in health, the environment, and industry.
The courses in the microbiology bachelor’s program cover all fundamental concepts in microbiology; a branch of biology sciences. This program deepens the study of microorganisms including all microscopic organisms including bacteria, virus, fungi, algae and protozoa. It enhances understanding their structure, function, genetics, ecology, and applications in medicine, industry, and biotechnology.
