Program Overview

The Master's program in Language Sciences - English Language aims to train specialized students in this broad field, which is characterized by its constant openness to Algerian educational institutions and the Algerian society. It also aims to direct students' attention to deepening their linguistic knowledge and focusing on developing communication skills and delivery abilities, while also emphasizing thinking, understanding, and scientific research techniques on one hand, and the cognitive load that research methods in language sciences provide on the other.

Training on fundamental grammatical, morphological, linguistic, and writing skills is provided. The teaching method in this course is based on careful and thorough reading of texts to identify the various cultural, literary, intellectual, linguistic, and stylistic aspects that language scholars in general, and English language scholars in particular, have addressed throughout successive eras. Students also learn about linguistic, grammatical, and writing exercises in their living context and normal use through these texts. Through these texts and skills, students become acquainted with writers and authors, different eras of literature and writing, literary genres of various types and trends, and the different authorship methods and expression styles of these writers and authors, ensuring the student's good linguistic expressive performance and their good affiliation and appreciation of their nation's heritage and civilization.

It also allows those who are drawn to research to continue their studies in various universities in the country or abroad. (The LMD system promotes student mobility between various national and international universities).

The Master's program in Language Sciences - English Language at Larbi Tebessi University (Tebessa, Algeria) offers specialized academic training in the field of foreign languages in its various theoretical and applied fields.
