Program Overview

The Master's program in Literature and Civilization, like all Master's degrees, spans two years (4 semesters). This program offers a rich and specialized education in literature, providing a balance between theory and practical application. It covers fundamental aspects such as major literary theories, English, American, and African literature within the Anglophone tradition.

Linguistic modern technologies are also highlighted, offering contemporary perspectives for literary text analysis. The goal is to train professionals, educators, and researchers capable of understanding the mechanisms of literary discourse.

This Master's program equips students to address contemporary challenges in the field of literature, civilization, and their applications. It concludes with the defense of a thesis, developed by the student under the scientific guidance of a faculty member, supported by research methodology training spanning three semesters. The fourth semester is dedicated exclusively to completing the thesis.
