Browse Programs Admission InformationAdapting the curriculum in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature to the new vision of university education adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aims to provide students with a substantial body of knowledge in the field of Arabic language, its literature, and other international literatures, while enabling them to acquire various skills that will benefit their future careers. To achieve this goal, this proposal focuses on systematic subjects that provide students with knowledge keys that enable them to acquire knowledge in their field of specialization through their own efforts, supported by the guidance of the professor.
Training Objectives:
1. The ability to produce texts, write, and edit to achieve social and cultural communication.
2. The ability to critique, analyze, interpret, and explain.
3. The ability to perform linguistic scrutiny and accurate semantic identification to achieve precise and effective communication.
4. The ability to employ linguistic abilities within the framework of meaningful communication and precise linguistic analysis.
5. Possess the ability to research and utilize methods of organization, coordination, and arrangement.
6. Ability to express oneself, write, debate, and integrate learners into various social and cultural communication situations.
7. Ability to formulate terminology and compile specialized dictionaries.
8. Ability to process information electronically, compile documentation files, and be able to write and express themselves in foreign languages and translate in communication situations.
9. Ability to exercise national rights and duties within the framework of applicable laws.
10. Ability to distinguish linguistic sounds and their specificities, and to understand their semantic and functional dimensions.
11. Ability to establish a private institution to invest in the field of specialization, discover undervalued areas, and open up to the socio-economic space.
