About Us

The program is structured over four semesters of 30 credits each (based on credit accumulation). Each semester corresponds to a training period of 14 to 16 weeks. Each week comprises between twenty (20) and twenty-five (25) hours of instruction. The courses in the first three semesters are organized into Teaching Units (UEs), including Core UEs, Interdisciplinary UEs, Discovery UEs, and Methodology UEs. Each UE has a weighting and a number of credits. Upon successful completion of a UE, the credits awarded are cumulative and transferable. A UE consists of one or more subjects; each subject has its own weighting and number of credits. Instruction for each subject is delivered through lectures, tutorials, practical work, independent study, internships, and research projects. Semester 4 corresponds to a research initiation project with an end-of-training internship and subsequently validated by a dissertation and a defense.
