Program Overview

A doctoral program in –audiovisual- is of paramount importance, given the role of the media in political and social transformations. Furthermore, new technological changes in the realm of audiovisual production require distinguished and elite training. Therefore, this project aims to enrich research in the audiovisual field, responding to the challenges posed by social and technical realities and in line with new professions in this field.

The doctoral program in –audiovisual- realm offers international students a real opportunity for in-depth academic research into the various complex interactions between the elements of audiovisual production and the reception of media products, especially in light of the current digital contexts of audiovisual production, consumption, and content creation.

Admissions Information

The applicant must meet the conditions and submit the following documents:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent) in media and Communication Sciences and all related or equivalent fields (audio-visual, media and audio-visual communication arts, multimedia and new media, etc.)
  • An academic and professional background in the audiovisual field
  • Research proposal aligned with the program's objectives
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  • Transcripts and graduation certificates
  • Two academic letters of recommendation
  • Motivation letter outlining academic goals and research interests
  • Interview (online)
