Program Overview

Objectives of the Program:

This training program aims to:

  • Train highly qualified professionals eligible for employment in state institutions, particularly the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Mujahideen (Veterans), security services, and others.
  • Provide specialization in Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law to various professional sectors, such as the legal profession, particularly for roles like "human rights lawyer" or "international lawyer."
  • Facilitate professional integration into institutions and associations promoting human rights, such as the National Council for Human Rights, the Red Crescent, etc.
  • Offer graduates employment opportunities in international and regional organizations dedicated to the promotion of human rights, or to represent Algeria in their executive and consultative bodies, such as the United Nations, the International Court of Justice, the Arab Organization for Human Rights, and the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights.

Admissions Information

Admission Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (LMD system) in Law
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Law (Classical system) — up to 10% of available places
  • A Bachelor’s degree (LMD system) in Political Science and International Relations — up to 5% of available places, based on a thorough review of the candidate’s application
  • A percentage of places (up to 10%) may be allocated to socio-economic partners under cooperation agreements, particularly for teachers in the national education sector.
