The specialty History and Civilization of Ancient Maghreb is devoted to the systematic and comprehensive study of the historical transformations that shaped the Maghrebian space during Antiquity. It aims to illuminate the principal civilizational manifestations that structured this region, while emphasizing the active and decisive role played by local populations in the emergence and development of humancivilization. This program also seeks to restore the historical depth of indigenous civilization and to reaffirm the significant contribution of the ancient peoples of the Maghreb to universal history.Furthermore, it undertakes a rigorousexamination of political, military, economic, and cultural dynamics, as well as the belief systems and local religious practices, analyzed within their specific historical contexts in order to elucidatetheirsignificance and implications.
