Clinical psychology is a branch of psychology focused on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.

Clinical psychologists use scientific methods such as clinical interviews, psychological testing, and behavioral observation to understand an individual’s psychological functioning and to provide appropriate therapeutic interventions, either individually or in groups.
